Animoosh

You’ll probably find him in the corner chewing a bone or guarding the front door. He may bark a bit, but he’s a real sweetheart with a heart of gold. Pronounced Ah-nee-MOOSH, his name means “dog” in American Indian. His previous owners gave him the name and it just stuck.

Animoosh was adopted at a Best Friends of Animals sponsored pet fair. His previous owners had seen him at a shelter when they went there to adopt a cat. They rescued him and vowed to find him a good home. He now has a good home where he gets love, attention, walking, and the occasional trip to sheepherding.
